What is your Favourite Starting Hand??? And Why??

Well.........in Texas Hold'em, AA is THE best starting hand, as we all know. Evidently, I guess everyone would like to see this hand, but me?? I'd rather have JT!!! Grin
The reason being is, well some of you may or may not understand, but I just seem comfortable, and I guess quite confident when I do get that hand. I seem to win a lot with that hand. Great hand for hitting a straight

I get dealt AA or KK and the first thought is not whoopee but ewwww wonder how I'm going to lose on the river this time

And it is nice to be pleasantly surprised when I have pocket kings and there isn't an Ace on the flop

But I do like to play suited connectors as they have lots of possibilities Smiley

I don't have a favourite, each hand depends on the situation and players so I try not to resrict myself.

    Hey,

I agree with ya sugar, but can't help but have an affinity for KQ.  I seem to fair well with those 2.  Mind ya, unlike some I don't mind too much KK. As for mid connectors, I'll go with 10-9.  I'm comfortable with those.

In NLH I seem to favor J9 suited.  My favorite sooted connectors are 9/10.  My least favorite hand is J's - they suck!!!  lol

Yeah I must agree Shar JJ sucks, lost a game with those today.  I knew I shouldn't of played them, just can't trust them.  I really don't think I have a favorite tho, what I play and what I bet, just depends on certain things in the game and at times maybe just go with a gut feeling.  Grin

I have to say my favorite hand has certainly changed since my last post.  I no longer favor J9 suited.  lol  I still love 9/10 suited.  I still hate pocket J's.  I would have to say my favorite hands these days is KQ suited.

Wow Shar, you sound almost like me on that one.  I hate JJ, do not trust them, tho I usually still take a chance at times, just depends.  Since I've started this forum I've started to like QK, suited preferrably.  I've found QK to do me good most of the time.   Grin

Yeah them 7-3os players can be tough.   Wink
Unless they are like me and fold preflop, then find out you would of had a boat on the flop.   Angry

AA would never be my choice for favorite hand.  When I have it I will obviously see the flop, but those Aces crack way too easily online.  Playing live they hold up much better.  Playing on here though I'll take a suited connector over A's any day without hesitation.  Online if it can go straight or flush it usually does.  For me personally more mileage is gained with the suited connectors.

My favorite hand is a pair first, no matter if small or large, the pair got lucky to get the book on the table, good luck
