Last week i was all excited because I had won $49 and first place in one of my forums season finally.  So, i am just a few points shy of a $10 bonus and my dumb butt decided to play a ring game at Cake.  I get pocket kings, cool right NOT!!  flop: Js, 3d, jc
turn Kd (mind u i have pocket kings so i got fh now) I go all in with my KsoverJs full house.  River i dont remember cuz it didnt matter.  The only thing that could beat me is for the other guy to have 4kind Js which would mean Pocket Js.  I dont do odds well but to me it seems like 1 to 104 odds in my favor.  Sure as sh*t, the jerk has pocket JJs!  To make it WORSE we are playing a cash ring game and i am thinking I am gonna doubnle up my 20 that i had in pot to over 40 bucks!  Its also only a 5/10cent table!  Only with MY LUCK could KINGS over JACKS (my pocket kings verses his pocket Js) lose 20 real cash dollars in ONE Hand to 4 of a kind Jacks!  Darn i was and am still very very very pissed!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW: ocassionally u may see me add pics to my posts!  thats just me being a proud momma of 6 kids, (three are stepkids)!  this is my 12 year old daughter Cherilyn!

Whenever I see KK my first thought is I know the flop will have an ace. To see no aces on that flop and get the King on the turn... wow I'd be singing too Smiley  All I can say is OUCH Christie - too painful

BUMMER!!  I know that had to hurt.  Sorry hun!
Sounds something like my Queens game at Cake we just played, but was 4 queens I got beat with.  The Queen Admin, in her own Queens game, got beat by a Queen with 4 Queens. LMAO!!  Cheesy  I still had fun tho, great game ladies!!

OMG That is awful, I gotta agree with witchywitchy, I usually dread getting KK cos I just always fear that the A is coming in the flop.  And you can be sure that some idiot has called your pre-flop raise with A rag.

I would have played the exact same way as you hun, I deffo wouldnt have thought of all the hands he woulda had JJ.  It really is one of those badbeats that we all encounter at one point or the other Smiley

I hope that this is a one off and you can win all the money back soon Smiley

Not that I enjoyed my Kings losing, but at least you had a hand. Ive had pocket As and Ks cracked by BS hands more this month than I can remember.  Dosent it seem like things of that nature run together in poker.

I had a week not long ago, were I went out on the bubble in 5 tourneys.  Then you have those times where you just cant seem to lose, and those times when you cant win with quads.

Ok, enough of my rambling  Roll Eyes
